This series touched my heart, and the characters lingered long after I closed the box set.
Covering the stories of Matthew and Ella; Brandon and Penny, and Nathan and Bianca, we meet the Dominants that love their women and their club(s), and the women who capture their hearts despite their all challenges and issues. The first three volumes focus on one couple at a time, and the fourth novella captures the epilogues to each couple.
Matthew finds Ella and they fall in love despite themselves. Ella has a PAST, bunny, and Matthew is one of those alpha heroes that can only be redeemed by the wrong-right woman-- instantly;
Brandon loves Penny, and Penny doesn't appreciate Brandon...until she sees the color of the grass on the other side. And as they find their way back to each other, they both have to adjust.
Nathan and Bianca are fated. But Bianca's past won't let them go, and she might destroy them all if Nathan and his friends cannot eliminate th threat her past, has on her.
And then, everyone gets their happy ending.
Filthy Desire – ****4 stars
Pleasantly surprised! I started this book thinking it would be mediocre giving it was this author’s first book because that is what been happening with the first books from authors recently for me. I was hooked after the first chapter...really hooked. I couldn’t put it down. I loved the storyline and the characters. I have to say, I knew the bad guy would come, but I didn’t know when so I was on the edge (in more ways than one) throughout the middle and end of the book...the suspense was killing me. Not to mention this book was supper hot, really steamy. I loved the epilogue at the end…tied everything together nicely. This author’s writing style is unique. It felt like he was telling me the story kind of like a diary, but in the here and now. The only negative thing I have to say is that it felt a little rushed at the end.
Dangerous Desire - ****4 stars
I was hooked on this author from his first book, Filthy Desires. I loved that this series is a continuation of the overall story, but with Penny and Brandon taking center stage. I really enjoyed the story. I haven't ready anything like this before. It had great character development and was super hot/sexy. As with Filthy Desires, I was hooked and couldn't put this book down. I can't wait to read the next one.
Carnal Desire - ****4 stars
Excellent story. I loved that this was a continuation of the series but with the next set of couples, Nathan and Bianca. The author has a way of writing that connects you to the characters. The fact that this book is a little darker than the preceding two took me out of my comfort zone a bit (not for the darkness, but they type of darkness I didn’t see coming), but I love that in a book. With this third book, the author has grown considerably since Filthy Desire and I can’t wait to read what he has planned next.
Desire - ****4 stars
This was a great short story following about a year in time after the events of Carnal Desire. It was a great peak back into the lives of these three couples.

Very well written book! It was a bit repeatative, but I understand because each book is designed to tell the story of one couple at a time. The relationship to the other couples has to be developed in each stand alone book. I will read these again because I was drawn to the characters and their situations in life. There was real love between them that made me feel wonderful all over!
Great series. The men of Club Onyx are what dreams are made of. Dominant, sexy, growly and tender when needed. The women in each mans life and their backstories are heart wrenching, honest and shows a great understanding of their mind sets as a submissive or slave. The sex is hot, thrilling, creative and sensual in its intimacy. Don't miss this series, it is a great story outside of the bedroom and club. Twists turns and plenty of omg moments. I'll read more from Sebastian Ex for sure.
What can I say about Onyx Club Series? Phenomenally written! A series you can't put down once you start it. Matthew, Brandon and Nathan are three loving, caring, protective gentlemen but yet their dominance is powerful and felt throughout each book. 5 stars is the maximum this series can be rated but it's definitely 10 star worthy. In ever book Sebastian's writing and storytelling keeps getting better and better. There is an emotional rollercoaster that Sebastian takes you on with, dominance, submission, love, loss, pain, healing and humor. The story and characters have the right amount of everything you'd love to read in a series. Sebastian has out done himself and I say Bravo. I look forward to more of his books.
